Italy 🇮🇹
Italian food is a short ingredient list and good produce. A proper durum wheat pasta, olive oil worth using, and a tomato sauce given time to finish cooking. At FUDI you'll find the brands Italians buy themselves.
Popular Italian brands
La Molisana – pasta from Molise in every shape, from linguine to gnocchi, plus pesto. Divella – classic Puglian pasta, including cannelloni and lasagne sheets. De Cecco – extra virgin olive oil. Fattorie Umbre – ready-made pasta sauces. Il Torrione – balsamic and wine vinegar.
Frequently asked questions
What does bronze-cut pasta mean? The dough is pressed through bronze dies instead of teflon. The surface turns rough and matte, and the sauce clings far better.
How much salt in the pasta water? Plenty – the water should taste of the sea. It's the only chance you get to season the pasta itself.
