Happy Belly Wonton Wrappers 300g are thin, pliable wonton sheets of 9 cm – the very foundation of home-made dim sum. With ready-made sheets you avoid rolling the dough yourself, and the route to steaming wonton soup or crisp-fried small dishes suddenly becomes very short.
Place a teaspoon of filling of minced meat, prawns or vegetables in the middle of the sheet, moisten the edges and fold it together. Boil the wontons in stock, steam them in a basket or deep-fry them golden and crisp – and serve with a soy-based dip or chilli oil. The sheets can also be fried empty as crisp chips.
