Hasat Fava Beans 1kg are dried broad beans with a creamy texture and a mild, nutty flavour – a cornerstone of cooking around the Mediterranean and in the Middle East. They are best known from ful medames, the classic breakfast dish with beans, lemon, garlic and olive oil. The one-kilo bag is an affordable staple.
Soak the beans overnight and simmer them until tender, and they are ready for stews, soups and salads. Mash them with olive oil, cumin and lemon for a full-bodied ful, or use them in a falafel mixture. More good staples can be found in the rice and staples range.
