Kryddhuset Citric Acid 110g

Pure citric acid in powder form, 110 g. Citric acid adds tartness without adding liquid or a lemon flavour, and is therefore the basic ingredient in pickling and preserving – it lowers the pH and keeps both the colour and crispness of the vegetables.

In the kitchen it is also used in baking, to curdle the milk when making paneer, and to adjust the tartness in juice, drinks and sauces. Outside the kitchen it is a common agent for descaling kettles and coffee machines.
