Description
Mirin is the sweet Japanese rice seasoning that gives gloss and a rounded sweetness to teriyaki, glazed vegetables and simmered dishes. This one from Yutaka is gluten-free, and the fermented rice alcohol makes up two per cent.
Use it together with soy sauce in teriyaki, or a tablespoon in broth to round off salt and acidity. See the mirin range.
