Juice and nectar from around the world – tropical fruit drinks you rarely see on Norwegian shelves. Mango, guava, lychee, tamarind, pomegranate and passion fruit, in everything from small cans to litre cartons. Over 200 varieties.

Juice, nectar or fruit drink?

The difference lies in the fruit content. Juice is one hundred percent fruit, either pressed directly or made from concentrate. Nectar typically contains 25–50 percent fruit, with added water and usually a little sugar – used for fruit too thick or too tart to drink pure, like mango, guava and apricot. Fruit drink has the lowest fruit content. That's why mango naturally comes as nectar, while orange is sold as pure juice.

Popular flavours with us

Mango nectar is our best seller – thick, sweet and Indian or Thai in style. Guava and passion fruit are close favourites. From the Middle East come pomegranate and apricot nectar, and from Asia lychee, calamansi and tamarind. We also carry coconut water, which is something else entirely, and lemon and lime juice for cooking.

Frequently asked questions about juice

Is nectar worse than juice? Not worse – different. Nectar exists because some fruits can't be drunk pure. A mango nectar is the truest way to get mango flavour in a bottle.

How long does opened juice keep? In the fridge, three to five days. Without refrigeration, only a few hours.

Do you have juice without added sugar? Yes, the pure hundred percent juices have no added sugar. Check the label on the nectar varieties.

What is calamansi? A small Filipino citrus fruit, between lime and mandarin in taste. It is used both as a drink and as acid in cooking.
